The landscape back board is 2metres long by 1 metre depth and the side boards are turned ‘portrait’  o be 2 metres high and 1 metre long and are generally navy in colour or grey. This will give your firm some privacy from the next door firm and will give you a display area of approximately 6 square metres.

Posters can be attached by purchasing ‘velcro’ ‘rough type’ double-sided stickies in advance.

Never Exhibited before?

Some helpful tips on exhibiting.

Exhibitions represent a market place in one place and time – bringing together suppliers and buyers and are a very versatile marketing medium.

So here’s some very simple tips to help you achieve the best for your firm on the Event day.

1) Prepare in advance to include your stand presentation - posters, pop-up stands, graphics and leaflets, flyers, brochures, business cards. These are essential items to attract your prospective customers to your stand and provide them with information to take away.

For immediate branding and graphic needs email jan@threeseventy.co.uk

For pop-up stands, large posters and stationery sundries email info@mbebrighton.co.uk

2) Work with the organiser with news about your firm, any new advertising and promotional activities being
undertaken.

Send your company news to info@starcommunications.org to be included, wherever possible, in Press Releases to local and Sussex press leading up to the event.

3) Consider sponsor packages – best packages are those tailored made between the organiser and exhibitor. Talk to the organiser.

4) Prepare any new product launches in advance - Practice demonstrations or sales pitch prior to the event
to friends and colleagues and let them tell you where you could improve performance.

5) Make sure you have provided the event promoters with full details about your firm, including telephone, email and website addresses so that reciprocal links can be made on the event website.
Put the event on your firms’ website and on your firms’ emails footer, too.

6) Send out the flyers supplied to you by the orginisation; give out at networking opportunities and follow up with a call or email to those firms before the event hoping to see them there.

7) Mail out to your customers wherever possible prior to the event and tell them what you’re up to. Successful firms are those that do. Mail out to those who you would like to become your customers and invite them to your stand.

8) Train staff that may be attending on the stand with you, to as much product knowledge as possible. Pick
staff that are happy to attend such an event, generally with an outgoing, pleasant personality.

9) People have come to the event for a purpose. They are interested in products and services. Make sure
you find out who they are and what they are seeking and spend the appropriate time with each visitor; qualifying your investment talking to the right people.

10) Sell from the front of the stand whenever possible, making sure you always greet all your visitors; smiles, eye contact and open questions. Be innovative, and involve your customers on your stand.

12) Set goals and targets which will help you achieve your investment return from taking a stand. Record and monitor your firms’ sales leads during the day, so that every visitor can receive a timely, follow up call or email or mail shot, afterwards.
Not all customers want a follow-up so make sure you have a suitable method of recording their interests.

13) Time is precious! The visitor has a lot of stands to see and seminars to listen to, so make sure every moment counts.
